After graduating, Kevin began his career with State Farm and gained several years of experience helping customers understand their coverage options before opening his own agency in Columbia in 2017. Being able to serve the same community where he grew up has always been one of the most rewarding parts of his career.

Our office is conveniently located near Merriweather Post Pavilion, a place that holds special memories for Kevin since he worked there during high school and college. Today, the Kevin Gordon State Farm team continues to build strong relationships with customers throughout Columbia and the surrounding communities. Our goal is to provide helpful guidance so individuals and families can make confident decisions about their insurance coverage.

Community involvement is an important part of who we are. Our office supports local organizations and charitable efforts, including Zaching Against Cancer, and Kevin serves as a board member for Zozo Battles MMIHS, a local organization established to support families and raise awareness in the community. Staying connected and giving back are values that guide both Kevin and his team.

Outside of the office, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. You’ll often find him coaching his kids’ soccer and T-ball teams, playing golf, smoking meat on the backyard smoker, watching sports, or catching live music around the Columbia area. These local experiences help him stay connected to the community he serves every day.
